Today is my birthday, I am 32. Funny, but I thought my life would be a bit different now. I thought I'd be healthy, thin, and have three children....all of these didn't happen because of my Lupus...but I do have a great life. God gave me the gift of Lupus, to see life for what it is....fragile and fleeting and full of challenges to overcome that will make you a better person. I am going to try to take it easy today and we don't have any plans at all. (Kind of wish we did and that someone made a big deal out of MY day!)
