Family Fun Night

Spirng is here...a little. Ella McCray insisted on picking the buttercups in our yard that had opened!

They made a beautiful bouqet and smell like Spring!

Tonight we decided to have a Family Fun Night and I thought a game night would be fun! We played Hangman, Guess the Jellybean Flavor, Yahtzee, an Oreo Slide Game, and a Cut the Flour Game. The kids had a ball, and Cliff even laughed (which was great because he's been very stressed lately).  Tip loved the jellybean gamed the best...we closed our eyes and someone put a jellybean in our mouth and we had to guess the color, then we checked the color in a small mirror. He kept doing this throughout the night! My favorite game, and I think Ella McCray's and Cliff's too, was the Oreo game. You put an Oreo on your head and try to move it to your mouth without using your hands. This was fun and down right hilarious...and yes, Cliff did get the Oreo to his mouth!

This was the flour game...I saw it on the internet and thought we'd see how much fun it was. You fill a small cup with flour and turn it over on a plate. Then you put a lifesaver on top of the flour and use a butter knife to cut the flour (kind of like Jenga), whoever makes the lifesaver fall has to fish it out of the flour with their mouth. Tip lost but was nervous about how to get the lifesaver out, so I did it for him! We had fun tonight and truly enjoyed laughing together. We ALL needed that!
